Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Willem van Nieulandt' after an anonymous artist. Willem van Nieulandt III (ca. 1584 - 1635) was a pupil of Jacob Savry and Paul Bril. He travelled to Rome around 1602. This had a profound influence on his work. Van Nieulandt was also active as a poet.

Condition: Fair, given age. Thread margins on three sides, cut to the plateline in top margin, upper right damaged and strenghtened. Small tear in lower margin, strenghtened. Some folding. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
