Description: No. 10 from a series. State: Only state. Ref: Hollstein 275.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Claes Jansz. Visscher' after 'Abraham Bloemaert'. Claes Jansz. Visscher (1584-1652) came from a family of shipbuilders and fishermen. He started one of the largest print publishing companies in Amsterdam in the 17th. Century. Being a gifted artist himself, he made many fine prints himself.  Abraham Bloemaert (1566-1651) was a Dutch painter and etcher/engraver. He was one of the 'Haarlem Mannerists', but shifted towards a more Baroque style around 1600.

Condition: Very good, given age. Large margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
