Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Ferdinand Piloty' after 'Guido Reni'. Ferdinand Piloty (1786-1844) was active in Munich. He worked together with Strixner making the "Oeuvres Lithographiques" with lithographs after drawings by famous masters. This very early project in lithography produced very fine specimens of the new technique. Guido Reni (1575-1642) was active as a fresco painter in the end of the 16th. Century. He was held in great esteem for his art.

Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins, heavy foxing, some creases from the margins into the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
