Artists and Engravers: Made by Anton Joseph Prenner after Paul Bril. Anton Joseph Prenner(1683-1761) was active as a reproductive engraver in Vienna. Paul Bril (1554-1626) was a landscape painter who worked in Rome, although born in Antwerp. This type of landcape, known as vedute ideate or vedute di fantasia, is a typical example of his best-known work.
