Description: From: "Voyage de L'Arabie Petree par Leon de Laborde et Linant.", published 1830.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Laurent Deroy' after 'Louis Maurice Adolphe Linant de Bellefonds'. Isidore Laurent Deroy (French; 1797-1886) was a French painter and lithographer, active in Paris. He was a student of Cassas and Felix. He made his first lithographs for this work. Louis Maurice Adolphe Linant de Bellefonds (1799-1883) otherwise known als Linant Pasha was an explorer. He participated in the building of the Suez channel.

Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: 'Tombeau a l' extremite nord de la ville.' - View of a tomb at the north extremity of Petra.

Condition: Very good, given age. A faint dampstain in the top right margin corner. Some tiny stains in the margin edges. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
