Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Sir Francis Seymour Haden' after own design. Sir Francis Seymour Haden (1818-1910) started out as an amateur artist, being a surgeon. He would become one of the main persons involved in the British Etching Revival. Being married to the half-sister of James McNeal Whistler, there was a collaboration for a while.
