Description: Published by Sarazin in Paris. Ref: Guiffrey 200 / IFF 303

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Charles Emile Jacque' after own design. Charles-Emile Jacque (1813-1894) was a very well respected French painter, sculptor and engraver / etcher of mostly landscapes and animals from Paris. He was trained as cartographic engraver. Later he developed a very free style in etching. He is considered one of the more interesting 19th. c. French artists.

Condition: Good, given age. Large margins, browning. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
