Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Anthonie Waterloo' after own design. Anthonie Waterloo (1609-1690) is born in Lille, but his family moved to Amsterdam probably to escape religious persecution. He was a painter, etcher and diplomat and famous for his landscapes (138 items). He developed his own style, probably as an auto-didact. Although Waterloo traveled widely, many of his landscapes were probably imagined in the workshop.

Condition: Good, given age. Small margins, small smudge upper left corner, some thin spots verso, small hole in bottom right corner margin, backed. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
