Description: Good, early impression.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Anthonie Waterloo' after own design. Anthonie Waterloo (1609-1690) is born in Lille, but his family moved to Amsterdam probably to escape religious persecution. He was a painter, etcher and diplomat and famous for his landscapes (138 items). He developed his own style, probably as an auto-didact. Although Waterloo traveled widely, many of his landscapes were probably imagined in the workshop.
