Description: Very good example of this very early lithograph. Ref: IFF 2.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Adrien Victor Auger' after own design. Adrien Victor Auger (1787-1854?) was one of the very lithographers in France.

Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: ''Le chat voleur.'' - A cat stealing a wig. The owner pursues the cat with tongs and rapier, while a woman holds out a bowl of food.

Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins. Margins a little browned. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
