Description: From: "Oeuvres lithograpiques." State: Only state. Ref: Düssler 59.5.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Ferdinand Piloty' after 'Johan Elias Ridinger'. Ferdinand Piloty (1786-1844) was active in Munich. He worked together with Strixner making the "Oeuvres Lithographiques" with lithographs after drawings by famous masters. This very early project in lithography produced very fine specimens of the new technique. Johan Elias Ridinger (1698-1767) was active in Augsburg. He specialised in hunting scenes.

Condition: Very good, given age. Small margins. Creasing in the margins. A small tear in the top margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
