Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Abraham Genoels' after own design. Abraham Genoels (1640-1723) was a landscape painter from Antwerp who worked extensively in Paris and Antwerp as a tapistry / gobelin painter. He went to Rome and joined the Bentveughels where he was nicknamed Archimedes.
Subject: Antique Master Print, untitled. Italianate landscape with two men near a square stone.
Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins, some waterstaining in left part of print, which can be removed on request. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
