Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Anonymous' after 'David Teniers?'. David Teniers the Younger (1610-1690) was a Flemish artist, born in Antwerp. He was the son of David Teniers the Elder, while his son and grandson also became painters. He was a wildly prolific painter, creating over 900 works. During his life he started the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, after having presided over the Antwerp guild of painters.
