Description: Probably a French pamflet against William III. At bottom right it mentions this being copied after an original (drawing?) in Paris. Ref: FMH 2814/BMS 1243.

Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: 'Folies extravagantes de la France sur la mort imaginaire de Guillaume III Roy de la Grand Bretagne Prince d'Orenge &c.' - (Extravagant ridicule in France over the imaginary death of William III, King of Great Britain and Prince of Orange etc.) Rare antique print. Satire on the imagined death of William III / Willem III. He is carried by Halifax, Burnet, Shrewbury, Dikvelt and Portlant and followed by his widow the Princess of Orange and Holland, Scottish, English and Irish figures.

Condition: Fair, given age. Margins cropped to the image edge. Old folds, with folding damage in the centre, causing a small hole. Paper loss in the top left margin corner (with loss of text). General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
