Artists and engravers:Made by Reinier Vinkeles after Cornelis Ploos van Amstel. Reinier Vinkeles (1741-1816) was an 18th-century painter and engraver from the Northern Netherlands. Cornelis Ploos van Amstel (1726-1798) was active as merchant in Amsterdam. He was an avid collector of art and invented a method of making prints after drawings from his own collection.
