Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Johann Martin Preissler' after own design. Johann Martin Preissler (1715-1794) was a German engraver was active in Nurnberg. He was a student of his father Johann Daniel Preissler. He went to Paris and worked with Georg Fredrich Schmidt. In 1744 he went to Danmark and worked for the Danish King and became a member of the Academy.
