Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Guillaume Vallet' after 'Sebastien Bourdon'. Guillaume Vallet (ca. 1634-1704) worked as publisher and engraver in Paris. He specialised in These prints. Sebastien Bourdon (1616-1671) originated from Montpellier. He later worked in Paris and spent several years in Rome. He was appointed as court painter to Christina of Sweden.

Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: 'Illustrissimo ecclesiae principi d.d. Petro Clement [..].' - Religion these print for Pierre Clement, bishop of Perigeux, with copper snake.

Condition: Fair, given age. Original folds, as issued. Large margins, stains, browning, folds reinforced verso. With manuscript annotation concerning recipes. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
