Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Philip Louis Debucourt' after own design. Philip Louis Debucourt (1755-1832) was a French painter and engraver, student of Vien, active in Paris. He specialised in large very finely worked aquatints.
Subject: Antique Master Print, untitled. A coach stranded in the snow. While some men try to wrestle the coach free, the driver has made a fire in a nearby cave, with a woman and child.
Condition: Very good, given age. Margins cropped close to the platemark. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
