Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Jacques Lagniet' after own design. Jacques Lagniet (French; 1620-1675) was active as engraver in Paris. He specialized in moral subjects.

Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: 'Il doit avoir bien chaud qui a tous ses habitz sur soy (…)' - (One does have to be really warm, when all clothes are made from silk.) Satiric print depicting the miserable fate of beggars in winter.

Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
