Artists and engravers:Made by Johannes Arnoldus Boland after Gilles Louis Chretien. Johannes Arnoldus Boland (Geesteren, 1838-1922, Amsterdam). Gilles-Louis Chretien (1754-1811) was a French engraver who invented the physiotrace, a quick method of making portraits in sihouet in 1786.
