Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Adam von Bartsch' after 'Moses ter Borch'. Adam von Bartsch (1757-1821) was a famous art historian and one the first cataloguers of prints. He worked in Vienna and made a nice oeuvre of prints himself. Moses ter Borch (Dutch; 1645-1667) was an equally talented artist like his brother Gerard. He died however at a very young age during the Dutch attack on Chatham.
