Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Adam von Bartsch' after 'Jan Lievens'. Adam von Bartsch (1757-1821) was a famous art historian and one the first cataloguers of prints. He worked in Vienna and made a substantial and interesting oeuvre of prints himself. Jan Lievens (1607-1674) was a Dutch artist and painter, who worked in close collaboration with Rembrandt.
