Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Johannes Adrianus Bemme' after 'Johan Bernard Scheffer'. Johannes Adriaansz. Bemme (1775-1841) was a Dutch designer and etcher active in Rotterdam. He was also active in the very early years of the lithography. He was a student of his father, Hauck and D. Langendijk. Johan Bernard Scheffer (1765-1809) worked as court painter to Louis Napoleon.
