Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Bartolomeus Kilian' after 'Johan Ulrich Mayr'. Bartholomeus Kilian II (1630-1696) was on of the members of the engravers family Kilian from Augsburg. He was the son and student of Wolfgang Kilian (1581-1662) and later Mattheus Merian in Frankfurt and F. de Poilly in Paris. Johan Ulrich Mayr (1630-1704) came from Augsburg. He is considered to be a pupil of Rembrandt.
