Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Louis Marvy' after 'Charles Emile de Tournemine'. Louis Marvy (1815-1850) was a French painter and engraver. He was a student of Jules Dupre and an associate of Charles-Emile Jacque. He exposed at the Salon from 1842. Charles Emile de Tournemine (1812-1872) was active as a curator of the Musee de Luxembourg.

Condition: Very good, given age. Large margins. A small ink stamped number in the lower right margin corner. A small stain in the lower right margin corner. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
