Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Johann Esaias Nilson' after 'Johann Evangelist Holzer'. Johann Esaias Nilson (1721-1788). Nilson was a very important German Rococo miniature painter, designer and engraver from Augsburg. His work is present in many collections worldwide. He was called the "German Watteau". Johann Evangelist Holzer (1709-1740) originated from Austria. He worked in Augsburg as a fresco painter.

Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: 'Die 12 Monate tanzen im Reihen nach der Pfeife der Zeit, mit der Devise: 'Alles hat seine Zeit. [..]' - The twelve months dancing to the music played by Time. The 12 months dance in line to the tune of the time, with the motto: 'Everything has its time.

Condition: Good, given age. Small margins, old fold in top left. Some foxing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
