Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Lucas Vorsterman II' after 'Jan Peeters I'. Lucas Vorsterman II / the younger (1624-c.1670) was a Flemish engraver, son of Lucas Vorsterman I. He was active in Antwerp and worked after Rubens and others. Ioan / Jan Peeters I (1624-1677) was a Flemish Baroque painter who specialised in seascapes and shipwrecks known as Zeekens (small seascapes). Brother of Jacob Peeters.
