Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Nicolas-Toussaint Charlet' after own design. Nicolas-Toussaint Charlet (1792-1842) was a supporter of Napoleon Bonaparte. He choose his subjectmatter based on this preference. Many prints of soldiers were made by him in the new medium of lithography. Lasteyrie is considered to be amongst the first publishers of lithography.
