Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Johannes Sadeler' after 'Dirck Barends'. Johannes Sadeler I (1550-ca. 1600) was a member of the engravers family Sadeler. The Sadeler family were the largest, and probably the most successful of the dynasties of Flemish engravers. Dirck Barendsz. (1534-1592) originated from Amsterdam. He worked as a pupil of Titian in Venice for a time and later returned to the Netherlands
