Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Herman Naywinx' after own design. Herman Naywinx (ca. 1624 - ca. 1654) made only 16 small landscape etchings. Very little is known of him; he is supposed to have moved to Hamburg where he died.
Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: '' - Landscape with trees on the bank of a stream.
Condition: Very good, given age. Large margins, on lightly grey toned paper. Light soiling and staining. Irregular paper edges, with some small tears, not effecting image. Small holes in left margin from binding. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
Size (in cm): The overall size is ca. 32 x 20.5 cm. The image size is ca. 13 x 11.5 cm.
