Artists and Engravers: Made by Reinhart after own design. Johann Christian Reinhart (1761-1847) was born in Bavaria and went to Italy in 1789. He never returned and was one of the importatnt figures in the German artists colony in Rome. His work can be seen as part of the beginnings of the Romantic movement
Subject: Antique print, untitled. It shows: view of a road with trees and man and donkey.
Condition: Very good, large margins. Uncut impression with the two small holes in the left margin from the original rope, that tied the set together. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
