Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Johann Adam Schweickhart' after 'Antonio Domenico Gabbiani'. Johann Adam Schweickhart (1722-1782) was a German engraver and designer from Nuremburg. He studied with Preissler and studied further in Italy. Het stayed in Florence for 18 years. He worked together with Molinari producing printdrawings and made several plates, published by Stosch. Antonio Domenico Gabbiani (Italian; 1652-1726) originated from Florence. He painted in a late- Baroque style.
