Description: Very nice example of a softground etching. Landscape.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'William Pengree Sherlock' after 'John Varley'. William Pengree Sherlock (*1775) worked in London as a graphic artist. John Varley (1778-1842) was active as a watercolourist. He was a close friend of William Blake.
