Description: From 'Oud-Belgien; Twee Dichtkundige Tafereelen uit de oude Geschiedenis des Vaderlands' by P.F. van Kerckhoven, Antwerpen 1842. State: Only state. Ref: Hippert & Linnig 11.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Eugene Francois de Block' after own design. Eugene Francois de Block (1812-1893) was a painter of genre subjects. He was a pupil of Ferdinand de Braekeleer.

Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: 'Kolmar.' - A medieval soldier with shield and sword stands on the corpse of his vanquished foe.

Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins. Lower left margin corner faintly soiled. Some paper erosion in the lower right margin corner. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Size (in cm): The overall size is ca. 12.5 x 17.9 cm. The image size is ca. 10 x 15.3 cm.
