Description: Based on the account of the eyewitness Forsoeck, who saw this eventy in 1774.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Rodolphe Thomas' after 'Thomas Charles Monnet'. Charles Monnet (1732-1808) worked in Paris. He received the title "peintre du roy".

Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: 'Arrivee du criminel condamne a cueillir le poison du Bohon Upas.' - A criminal trying to collect the poisonous secretions of the Bohon Upas tree.

Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins, some foxing. Some small tears in the margin and some creases in left top. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
