Description: This is a satire on the fact, that many Scottish women did the laundry washing in the streams with their bare feet and legs, without feeling any embarrassment. Ref: BMS 11476

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Isaac Cruikshank' after own design. Isaac Cruikshank (1764-1811) worked as a caricaturist.
