Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Frederique Emilie Auguste O'Connel' after own design. Frederique Emilie Auguste O'Connel (1828-1885) trained in Brussels. She moved to Paris, where she held a very popular salon for several years. Later in her live, her popularity diminished and she ended up in a psychiatric institute.
