Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Egidius Linnig' after own design. Egidius Linnig (1777-1860) was a pupil of Van Bree and Van Gingelen. He visited the Netherlands to study the old masters and later specialised in marine scenery.

Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins. Paper loss in the top left and right and lower left corners, minimal loss of image (backed with contemporary paper and acid-free archival tape). Paper loss in the left edge of the image, similarly backed. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
