Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Joannes Visscher' after 'Adriaen Brouwer'. Jan / Johannes de Visscher, the younger (ca. 1636-1692) was a Dutch Golden Age engraver who later became a painter at age 58. He made famous print after Wouwermans and Berchem, as well as Ostade and Van Goyen. He was the brother of Cornelis II and Lambert. Adriaen Brouwer (1605-1638) was a Flemish genre painter, active in Flanders and the Dutch Republic.

Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: 'Promi Magis quam condi.' - Interior of an inn with three men, one sleeping, one drinking and smoking a pipe, and the third partially hidden behind the second.
