Description: This plate was republished in "Vlaamsche School" in 1869. State: Second state of 2. Ref: Hippert & Linnig 24.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Henry Frans Schaeffels' after own design. Henry Frans Schaeffels (1827-1904) worked in Antwerp, specialising in marines.

Subject: Antique Master Print, untitled. The carnival of St. Job in Antwerp in the 17th. Century.

Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins. Creasing in the lower left margin corner. Lower and right margins a little browned, some foxing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
