Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Wallerant Vaillant' after 'A. Brauer'. Wallerant Vaillant (1623-1677) was a painter of the Dutch Golden Age, and one of the early adopters of the mezzotint technique, which he helped develop.

Condition: Very good, given age. Small margins. A small manuscript ink annotation in the lower right margin corner. Vertical fold in middle. Remains of attachment to carrier on the rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
