Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Frederik Bloemaert' after 'Abraham Bloemaert'. Frederik Bloemaert (Utrecht 1614-1690) was a Dutch printmaker and draughtsman, student of his father Abraham.  Abraham Bloemaert (1566-1651) was a Dutch painter and etcher/engraver. He was one of the 'Haarlem Mannerists', but shifted towards a more Baroque style around 1600.

Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: 'Hyems.' - Allegory of Winter, shown as a man warming his hands over a fire while leaning on a stick. Some gathered wood, tied together, thrown on the floor.

Condition: Very good, given age. Margins cropped to or just over the platemark. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
