Artists and Engravers: Engraved by J. Gole after P. Moreelse. Jacob Gole (ca. 1660-1737) belonged to a group of French refugees who came to the Northern Netherlands in the end of the 17th. Century. He worked in close collaboartion with Cornelis Dusart and specialized in the making of mezzotints.
Subject: Antique print, untitled. It shows: a loving couple, the man fondling the woman's bared breast.
Condition: Very good, thread margins. Nice impression General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
