Description: Good impression, from a set of 4 battle scenes. Ref: Teuscher 47.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Georg Philip Rugendas' after own design. Georg Philipp Rugendas (Augsburg 1666-1742) was a German military and battle painter and engraver. He was a pupil of Issak Fisches. Rugendas exposed himself to great danger during the siege of Augsburg in 1703 to draw amidst the engagements.

Condition: Very good, given age. Small margins on three sides, bottom cut to the plate line. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
