Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Georg Philip Rugendas' after own design. Georg Philipp Rugendas (Augsburg 1666-1742) was a German military and battle painter and engraver. He was a pupil of Issak Fisches. Rugendas exposed himself to great danger during the siege of Augsburg in 1703 to draw amidst the engagements.
