Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Willem Jacobsz. Dellf' after 'Hendrick Meerman'. Willem Jacobsz. Delff (1580-1638) was a Dutch engraver, active in Delft. He was a student of his father Jacob Willemsz, Delff and possibly of Goltzius. He was the chief engraver of the designs of his father in law Van Mierevelt. Hendrick Meerman (ca. 1610-after 1650) worked in Cologne and Amsterdam.
