Artists and Engravers: Made by 'J. Duthe' after 'Peter Paul Rubens'. J. Duthe (1788-1869) worked in Paris as an engraver around 1800-1820. Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640) was a famous baroque painter and diplomat from Flanders. He ran a large workshop in Antwerp. His work was reproduced in print many times.
