Description: Source unknown, to be determined. State: Only states Ref: Hollst. 721 & 799/ FMP 1612 & 3692 Provenance: Earl of Portland (no mark) Together wit a third man these men conspired to take over the city of Tiel in 1621.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Crispyn de Passe' after own design. Crispijn / Crispyn de Passe (Dutch; 1565-1637) was a very active printmaker. He started engraving in Antwerp and was later active in Cologne and Utrecht. Being highly active he and his family produced a large amount of prints, including a group of very finely engraved portraits.
