Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Izaak de Wit Jansz. ' after 'Jacob Cats'. Isaac de Wit Jansz. (1744-1809) was an engraver active in Amsterdam and Haarlem. He worked together with J. P. Visser Bender.
Subject: 11 Antique master prints, titled: 'De twaalf maanden naar tekeningen van Jacob Cats.' - Set of ten (of twelve) landscape engravings, each dedicated to a month of the year. The landscapes are Dutch, mostly showing village or rural views with figures.
Condition: Very good, given age. Large margins. Margin edges of some sheets a little uneven. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
