Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Jacob Houbraken' after an anonymous artist. Jakob Houbraken (1698-1780) was a very productive Dutch 18th. Century engraver, who produced a great number of book-illustrations in the taste of the time. He also engraved many portraits and some prints after contemporary masters.
Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: 'Dus heeft van Geel [..].' - Portrait of the painter Joost van Geel.
Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins, old number in right lower. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
